Need Full Service Moving advice
Question:
I'm planning to move from my 1 br apartment in So. california sometime in Aug. to Visalia Ca., south of Fresno Ca., but have no idea, if it would be worth hiring a full service moving company. I can afford a self service moving truck, but I'm afraid, the loading will kill my back, because I will have to go up and down stairs. If, anyone in here knows of a reputable company or better yet, has had a recent experience with a full service moving company that you can recommend? Please, email me if you have advice or you can share your advice here? I've visited a few online services, but it's difficult to determine which company offers the best service with the lowest rates, so I'm hoping someone in here might have some first had knowledge having hired a full service moving company in the past. FWIW, the move will be approximately 200 miles one way and if you'd like, you can advise me on companies to avoid. I would like to keep the cost of moving as low as possible, but I realize there must be an industry standard (weight/mileage), so, if anyone has any advice to offer up? I would appreciate it.
