Need recommendation for moving company and storage
Question:
Can anyone recommend a good moving company, or a way to go about finding one? I've heard lots of horror stories, and am wondering about the best way to avoid having a few of my own to tell after I move this summer (Md to Pa). I'd guess consumer reports would have done a review of the national companies at some time, so I'll look for that, but am interested in other information as well.

I have reccomended them before and will continue to reccomend JK Moving and Storage. It is a locally owned company that is family run. There is a dedication to quality that starts at the top and has definitely been transmitted to and signed on by employees at all levels. At this point, I will let you know that I have no financial interest in the company, I just worked there for two summers while in college and was very impressed with the people who run it and the company in general. The company has very, very low levels of damage to things that they move (I mean low occurences of damage, not they just damage everything a little bit). They do local moves, long distance moves, and commercial moves. The employees and owners care about making customers happy and it is obvious in the results.
