We're moving in 2 weeks and are looking into our options a little late. We were planning on renting a Uhaul or similar, but would have preferred to do that over a 24 hour period, and Uhaul only rents for 6 hours, and the other companies we've called require a credit card, which we do not have. So, we are looking into this company called 'Our Move'. According to their site, they deliver the trailer, we load it, they drive it to the new location, and we unload it. That is pretty much exactly what we are looking for. But, I've never heard of them. So, does anybody have any experience with them?

Last time we moved, I used IVL Moving and Storage. Owner is the father of a friend, but he gave us a quote and sent out a group of guys to help. I was pretty happy with the service. They're in the phone book, I think. Don't know if they do local moves, although I know we used them when we moved our office from one downtown location to another. The thing is, we don't need them to do the actual moving - just the truck. We've got plenty of manpower that'll work for pizza and beer ;) But, we were hoping to have the truck for the 31st and the 1st so that we can load up the majority of the house on the afternoon/evening of the 31st and unload on the morning of the 1st. So if anyone knows of a place/person that'll rent a truck for 24 hours, please let me know! 17' would be preferable, from what I can tell. mentioned in my first post that the trucks are only available for 6 hour periods at the end/beginning of the month. We called a couple other companies, but they all require a credit card, which we don't have, and can't borrow a card for the deposit unless that person will be in town to pick up the truck, and we don't know anyone in town who has the credit card, time, and want to help us.
