We have quite a few. I'll list the orginal numbers and orginal costs from the mover below. I wouldn't sell any that were damaged. We'd let them go for half the original cost. 3 x china barrels $5.75 ea 30 x 2 cu-ft $2.00 ea 9 x 4 cu-ft $3.00 ea 5 x 5 cu-ft $3.50 ea Some of them still aren't unpacked, but that's the basic list. Let me know if you want any. We live in the SW, to the west of Westhills. I used desktop system boxes and 15" monitor boxes about 4 years back. I must have got 50+ boxes plus all the used bubble wrap I wanted.My move coincided with the receipt of a lot of systems so I grabbed all the boxes before they went into the cardboard recycling bin. The system boxes were half the height of the monitor boxes. Light things in the monitor boxes, heavy things in the system boxes. The cardboard was real sturdy and had handles which were great for picking them up. Too bad you have to pay for moving boxes when there are so many good ones like computer boxes being recycled. Perhaps when you have finished moving and unpacked all the boxes, you might want to offer them (plus other packing material) for sale here so you can recoup some of your costs and help someone else. Even if you get them free, you might want to offer them before you toss them so the next person can have an easier time moving. Just a suggestion. I should have done that with all my used boxes at the time. They were real good for moving. Go to your local photo copy center... They should have a bunch of copy paper boxes that they are willing to give away. They're the perfect size for heavy things like books and they stack really well. Also could try the liquor stores and grocery stores to see if they have some boxes as well. Although if you need them for the end of this month, it may be to late to try and hunt down the free ones. But still worth a shot. If you live in an apartment building and you're moving out next month... Find out if anyone is moving in and get their boxes when they're done unpacking... Also the computer system and monitor boxes are great too... Check with the retail stores for their used boxes.
