Good Moving Labor Helper?
Question:
We are going to move at the end of May from Milpitas to Fremont. We need some help to load and unload the heavy furnitures and big screen TV. Anyone knows good moving labor helper? Is there any insurance available usually with this kind of service?
Answer:
I moved last August from LA to the South Bay. I had the following company
unpack a pack job I had packed by a local LA packing company. They showed
up on time, worked hard ... none of that wondering if they COULD be going
faster, didn't mind that the job only took them two hours, charged
$50/hour, and are a family owned company. In short, I liked them. I'll
use them the next time I move.

We are also moving the weekend of July 10th. Could use some help also.
Moving within Plano.
I've used the day laborers in Plano a few times. Also took a neighbor to help with the
translation. Offered them an X amount and payed their lunch as well. I'd say anything
from $50-60 for an 8 hour day would suffice for some of those guys.
