Having problem moving a mailbox
Question:
I moved a user mailbox from one server to another one. It was successful.
But I still can see his mailbox under the old store, though the size is much
smaller. When I ran cleanup agent it showed me a red X. Then I can either
do reconnect or purge. I have never seen that before. The mailbox should
disappear from the old store. The user was able to connect to his new
mailbox. any idea why it happened like this? the user has a blackberry. I
don't think it will be the cause. I moved user with blackberry befor

Answer:
_Seen this before, where the mb would move and be in the original and
new location, ended up being some AD issue possibly with not being
able to update the directory object attributes after the move,
homemdb, homemta, msexchhomeservername. Anything in the event logs?
_Try moving the mailbox back - it won't move, but *may* give you an
error
that a mailbox was detected on the target mailbox store (2003), and
prompt
you to remove it.
