Recommendation for local movers in boston area? Small move
Question:
Does anyone know of good movers for a ~10 mile local move of a few boxes (50)? I need a reliable moving company that shows up on time. There are many college students on craigslist that are helping out with moving but I'm not sure how reliable they are. Any suggestions?
Answer:
_Gentle Giant is awesome, but I suspect their rates are a little steep
for small moves.
-Have you already considered and rejected the idea of simply renting a
truck from U-Haul or the like and doing it yourself or, if you have a
disability that prevents it, with one or two friends or casual laborers
(such as those college students)? This is not a complicated job that
requires the assistance of professional movers.
