Hauling pins to Expo? Uhaul trailer? How many?

Question:

Well I got my 07 F-150 going to Expo. I dont have room for but 2 games in the bed. And open bed is dependent on weather. So thats out. I want to take games to Expo, but am curious about a Uhaul trailer. I looked at the trailers on there website and looks like I would take the biggest one they have 6' X 12' . questions are. Anyone used a Uhaul trailer? Can pins fit in there shrinkwrapped and upright? How many? Any problems? Suggestions?

Answer:

I used the Uhaul 6x12 for the Texas show this spring. I got it because games would fit upright and back to back. I ended up only taking 4 games, so I had tons of room and was able to leave them all laying down. All standing up, you could easily get 8 pins without trying too hard. I'm a uhaul dealer, I operate a pinball arcade, you can fit 8 to 10 pins in a 6' x 12' trailer, $29.95 day, no mileage, insurance is $5 / day, Great way to haul pins as this size is dual axle and friction brake. You are talking about a pull behind trailer right? Just wondering? I was thinking about renting one of these to go to a pin auction a while back, and called the local U-haul dealer here...they wouldn't rent one to me because I have a Ford Explorer. Just wondering if this was still the case, because I was thinking about renting one possibly for Expo...but I still have my Explorer? So that would defeat the purpose if I had to rent something else to pull it? Go with the pull-behind type of trailer. Those push-in-front ones are really tricky to steer, especially at freeway speeds. Promise me you'll play a game on Marvin's 4 Million B. C. for me.
(and then convince hime to ship it to me...
Hey Phoebe I'm only an hour away from you (Connersville, IN). How many pins are you wanting to take up there? Last year I pulled a small Uhaul behind my Tacoma. I fit three pins in the back of my truck (with a shell on even!) and put a couple more in the trailer. I'm hoping to take up three games this year and rent a trailer again. Might be room for yours depending on how many you have.
